2017'17' Honda MSX125 MSX 125 Monkey Bike Grom (ABS) Learner Legal Motorcycle

  
My partner bought it after i bought mine so we could ride together. We bought it new from Blackpool Honda and she used it as her daily vehicle. She rode it carefully and the quality of the bike shows this, it's been garage kept since new, and so everything works nicely. There are some minor marks on the bodywork/exhaust but we haven't tried to hide it. It's always been looked after and it's probably the only bike in the country that hasn't been wheelied/abused. A few basic improvements were done to the bike to ensure it is safe and reliable. The tyres have been replaced with michelin city grips which are a huge improvement to the OEM tyres. They're confidence inspiring in all weathers.

We changed the chain/sprockets from 420 size to 428. This setup needs less adjustment and is much longer lasting. The chain is also a higher quality than the stock. We didn't mess with the gearing so the speedo works correctly, the bike pulls well through the gears and keeps up with traffic in original form.

We also replaced the levers with adjustable units, as my partner has small hands so she is more comfortable on the bike. We still have the originals if you want to restore this. Finally we fitted a topbox on the back.

Its big enough to fit your helmet/chain shopping, and it's a Givi setup so you can swap the box out with different sizes. We've fitted the topbox off my GS so she can go shopping/camping. We've serviced the bike frequently, as its a joy to work on, its basically a very nice C90. Oil takes 10 mins, and 40 to clean the mesh.

We checked the valves at every service, as even these are easy to do. We've got some spare brake pads you can have as we kept them on the shelf just in case we needed them. If you're looking for your first bike or a second bike to use for commuting or weekend fun, i'm certain you'll be happy with this bike. It uses practically no fuel (180 miles to a tank on a run) and the tank is 5.5l, its as reliable as a Honda, and it looks brilliant.
