A smart chip of the third generation with an option to set a speed limit of an e-bike. SpeedBox 3.3 tuning chip enables to select speed limit of your own choice. After the chip is installed, your e-bike's display will show real data, such as maximum and average speeds, daily mileage and cruising range. Note: The Speedbox App is an application specially designed for Speedbox B.

With a non-Bluetooth Speedbox product like this one, the Speedbox App is unavailable. The tuning kit manipulates the speed signal without altering the motor's power relative to pedaling speed.

This guarantees a smooth motor control without speed limit interruptions. Depending on a tuning kit, some determine when assistance stops, while others remove the restriction entirely for continuous support. However, the achievable speed mostly depends on the eBike model. Achievable speed can be calculated using a simple formula. Speed = Cadence [rpm] Wheel circumference [mm] Front Chainring Teeth / Rear Chainring Teeth 60 [min/h] / 1.000.000 [mm/km].

The tuning kit can be activated directly on your bike's display. After pressing the LIGHT button or???? , a value of 9.9 km/h (6.2 mph) is displayed and from now on you will be able to ride at an unlimited speed.

For displays that do not show decimal numbers, the value of 9 km/h will be displayed. To deactivate the tuning kit, press the LIGHT button or????

The value of 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph) will appear on your display and the speed limit will reset to 25 km/h. Your e-bike will then work the same as before installation of the chip. For displays that do not show decimal numbers, the value of 2 km/h will be displayed. You can set the maximum speed of an electric assistance by changing modes three levels down and then three levels up. An actual speed limit will be displayed after that.

The maximum speed of an electric assistance can be switched (always rounded up by 5 km/h) by pressing LIGHT button shortly or by turning the rear wheel 360°. The last displayed limit will be saved after 5 seconds of inactivity.

Is this Speedbox the right tuning kit for my bike? Not compatible with: SpeedBox App.

How to install this tuning kit? When connecting the SpeedBox tuning kit to an e-bike you will find connectors colored to make installation very simple.

We have prepared detailed instructions and videos to make installation easy for you. Disassembly of our tuning chip is just as easy. Electric bikes equipped with SpeedBox products are not allowed to be used on public roads, cycling paths and public places. Electric bikes equipped with SpeedBox products can be used exclusively on private property and entirely at one's own risk.

We strongly recommend using other safety features and protective gear to prevent injuries in higher speeds. SpeedBox Products are thoroughly tested and we stand by their quality.
